What are some ways we can grieve the loss of our individual dreams, especially when the pain hurts so deeply? Here are three suggestions.

Missionaries in foreign countries prepare by learning a new language, finding out about that country’s culture, and researching the physical needs of the area. You can do the same thing wherever you are.

Instead of hiding our grief and attempting to walk through it numbly, we serve a God who wants us to break down to Him.

Isaiah 9:6 reminds us we can have hope and joy this time of year, no matter how painful the past has been.

Scripture writing plans are incredibly simple, yet incredibly effective for helping us read, interpret and absorb the Word of God. Rather than simply letting our eyes pass over a verse and perhaps miss its full meaning, writing Scripture down helps us absorb each word and really think through what the passage before us is saying. Each day in December you’ll have the opportunity to write down a verse. We suggest using a journal where you can add any additional mediations or prayers that the verse brings to mind.Click here to download the December Scripture Writing Guide!

Before busy lifestyles try to steal our time and energy, we can spend a few moments with God every day.
